Whether you are a dessert lover or not, one can not deny quality ingredients used to perfection.  This is exactly what Rosewood Tuckers Point has been praised for in their recently reviewed dessert at The Point Restaurant.

American media outlet, USA Today has recently acknowledged the local restaurant in their ‘Experience Caribbean’ section of USA Today Travel. In an August 2015 special review, The Point received an honorable mention in the feature “Coocoo for Coconuts: Delicious Caribbean Recipes.”  The article named the top ten places in the Caribbean to find the best recipes highlighting Coconut, a healthy and diverse natural ingredient.

Bermuda’s, The Point Restaurant, channels it’s coconut inspiration in the form of their recognized dessert ‘Eastern Promise’. Originating from the creativity of Executive Chef Gerry Adams and Pastry Chef Krishna Gudla, the dish draws on influences unique to Bermuda.

In its creation, which references flavors of the east, features a light and airy coconut mouse. Used thoughtfully to reference the flavors of the Caribbean, Chef Adams notes the dessert is about “recognizing the flavors from the East and realizing that they sit just as nicely on our beautiful pink sands” adding “Every dessert is an opportunity to create new ideas.”
