| Casual Dining in many settings |
Bermuda offers many dining experiences from formal to casual. There are a variety of restaurants that offer casual dining al fresco, or indoors. Breakfast and lunch are always casual, but many restaurants have waived the traditional jacket and tie requirement and simply ask that diners be “smart casual”, which precludes a T-shirt, jeans, tank top and short shorts. Acceptable for gentlemen are golf shirts, while for ladies slacks, shorts and a sensible top. Restaurants and hotels on the beach ask only that their guests do not go to the table in bathing suits.
The casual look in restaurants is popular in Bermuda and restaurateurs like to feel that their patrons are comfortable as they avail themselves of the good service and good food. |
