For steak lovers, Bermudian restaurants have a reputation of serving the best cuts of fresh and aged beef available for import. Although many restaurants feature great steak dishes - those listed below can be considered true Steakhouses. And because Bermuda is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, our local seafood is also highly rated. Local Red Snapper, Wahoo, Tuna and Lobster can be cooked in a variety of ways, served alongside a good cut of meat.

Barracuda Grill

Lobster Pot Restaurant and Boathouse Bar
A warm welcome awaits you at The Lobster Pot, Bermuda's finest seafood restaurant for more than 36 years. A favourite with locals and visitors, the Lobster Pot offers an outstanding variety of seafood specialties and fresh fish delivered daily. Pan-fried rockfish, served with banana and almonds. Herb crusted, baked snapper and pan-seared tuna that melts in your mouth, are a few. Don't forget live Maine lobsters flown in weekly and fresh Bermuda lobsters and guinea chicks delivered daily in season. Don't like seafood, try our centre cut filet mignon or sirloin steak, succulent rack of lamb or tender chicken breast. We'll serve it just the way you like it. The Lobster Pot is a 'must visit' for anyone who enjoys fine food and friendly service. Ocean Grill at The Pompano Beach Club
This highly regarded bistro-style restaurant features an extensive a la carte dinner menu and is dramatically situated on a cliff overlooking the ocean, offering breathtaking ocean views through floor to ceiling windows on three sides.  The Ocean Grill has perhaps the most spectacular oceanfront setting of any restaurant in Bermuda, not to mention, the best sunset views on the island!  It is open for dinner from 7-10pm, with reservations required.  The restaurant seats just over 60 people and reservations are taken on the half hour.  Attire is "resort casual" (t-shirts with writing on them are not permitted).

Robin Hood Pub & Restuarant
The Robin Hood, or the The Hood as it is known locally, is one of Bermudas most popular rustic English-style taverns. The large bar and dining area can handle quite a crowd. Shooters are popular with over 50 to choose from.  The Hood features TVs throughout so you never miss a great sport play. They also serve a variety of food whether its pizzas, burgers, steaks, and curries, or English favorites like Banger & Mash or Fish & Chips, there is always something to intrigue the palate. 441-295-3314.

Royston's
Its grand fireplace, rich dark wood and candlelight give Royston's the warm feel of a traditional supper club. Named after the owner's father, Royston's incorporates details reflective of the real Royston's tastes, even using his handwriting for their menus. Portions are ample and the wine list extensive, with items such as Gosling's Bermuda Rum-soaked pork chops and Beef Wellington. Diners enjoy views of the display kitchen, available for cooking demonstrations and wine tasting. The Wine Room features a custom-built mahogany wine storage unit holding close to 1,000 bottles, which can be reserved as a private dining room. Call 238-0222 for reservations.

Somerset Country Squire Restaurant and Pub
Blessed by the scenic tranquility of Mangrove Bay as its focal point, The Somerset Country Squire Restaurant and Pub finds itself ideally located for picturesque and relaxed lunches at very reasonable prices. During the evenings you can dine a la carte at affordable prices with hospitable and friendly service. Our downstairs bar features excellent coverage of sports via our satellite TV network. White Horse Pub & Restaurant

The White Horse Pub & Restaurant is one of Bermuda's oldest and most famous pubs in Bermuda. We specialize in great Seafood and Pub Fare dishes, served in a relaxed and casual atmosphere with your choice of inside or outside waterfront dining with breathtaking views of the St. George Harbour. Come in and try one of our signature cocktails from our extensive beverage menu, while sitting back at either our inside or outside waterfront bar. For all you sports fans out there, enjoy wall to wall sports coverage via satellite feeds of your favorite teams, from morning to night.
