Getting to Bermuda

Getting to Bermuda from many North American takes as little as two hours by air and a couple of days by sea! Why not come for a long weekend on a direct flight from Boston, New York, Toronto, Atlanta or Washington D.C.?

Or cruise to Bermuda with the finest luxuries along the way. Then relax on the beach, play some golf or tennis, go fishing or snorkeling, treat yourself to a spa day and enjoy the culinary delights Bermuda has to offer. Rejuvenate!

The permitted length of stay is initially three weeks. Most travelers with a return ticket and place of accommodation while in Bermuda will not have trouble with Immigration officials. This said, Immigration does have the right to restrict your length of stay. An application can be made to extend your stay and must be done in person at Immigration Headquarters in Hamilton Monday through Friday from 9am to noon.

People wishing to work or reside in Bermuda for an indefinite period of time will not be permitted to land unless prior authorization has been given by Bermuda Immigration authorities.

Check here for the Visa requirements to enter Bermuda. Holders of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Passports or British National (Overseas) passports do NOT require visas for Bermuda.
