Royal Naval Dockyard

Spend a Morning in the Royal Naval Dockyard

The Royal Naval Dockyard was the principal base of the Royal Navy in the Western Atlantic between American Independence and the Cold War.

It sounds like a full day commitment but it doesn’t have to be. Catch the next ferry, gaze out at the Bermuda blues and make the best of your morning in Dockyard! Head straight to Snorkel Park and take advantage of this all inclusive beach getaway perfect for the whole family. Swim, Snorkel, Enjoy live entertainment, water sports, tiki bars and more. Meet Bermuda’s dolphin family face-to-face at Dolphin Quest during an exciting dolphin experience – book in advance or check availability on arrival. Take the bus back, routes #7 and #8, Dockyard – Hamilton, for a completely different scenic experience.

Bermuda Harbour Nights

Dance into the Evening with a Gombey

Harbour Nights take place every Wednesday from 7 to 10pm, on Front Street in Hamilton. During this street festival, join locals and visitors enjoying artisan stalls, snacks, cultural samples and experiences. Patios and shops along Front Street and beyond are open late. When the Gombey’s make their grand entrance, dance right alongside them all the way down the road! Feel the islands rhythm and vibe, in this exciting tradition.

The last Harbour Nights takes place September 4th.

Bus Route #1, #3, #10 & #11 St George’s-Hamilton all pass the Bailey’s Bay Locations and Route #7 Hamilton – Dockyard passes the South Shore location.
