Bulli.Social, The New Kid on the Block

By Brigitta Wohlmuth

A former happy hour hot-spot has been transformed into a new restaurant that’s got the whole city buzzing with excitement. At long last Hamilton can claim its first upscale burger joint – a place to comfortably eat-in or take-away serving a variety of gourmet burgers, ‘dawgs’ and poutine.

Bulli.Social is the joint project of Tyler Nearon and Chef Johnny Roberts, the owner of Bolero Restaurant & Bar an award-winning bistro that attracts foodies of all backgrounds due to it’s regularly changing menu and “out-of-the-box” cuisine. Chef Johnny is well known for his culinary quirkiness and apart from being brilliantly innovative in the kitchen, he’s also a rather unapologetic meat lover. Those who share his passion will find themselves most welcome at the new digs where all dishes are made with the highest quality cuts and only grass fed beef. .Social offers classic bar food with an extra dose of panache and the food is designed to be tasty above all else – rich, hearty and not intended for the calorie counting individuals (with the exception of a few fancy salads).

At 7 Queen Street, the venue extends into Queen Elizabeth Park, a prime location for a quick lunch, or ‘dinner & drinks’ where you enjoy the greenery outside on the Social Patio. Outback you’ll find ample seating, evening entertainment and a full bar that stays open late. The kitchen will stay open late too, very late, and we have an unshakeable feeling that .Social is going to be the hottest new hangout on the block. So don’t miss out, this month – grab the bull by the horns and get your “greaze on”. Bikini season’s basically over anyhow.
