BERMUDA NATIONAL TRUST ANNUAL
December 2, 6-9pm.
The charming old town of St. George’s will be magical at this community event, which marks the start of the Christmas season. The excitement and romantic yesteryear elegance that the Trust brings to St. George’s should not be missed! There will be entertainment throughout the town and refreshments will be served at various locations marked on a map that will be distributed on the evening. Children can meet Santa and make Christmas crafts while the public are invited to explore some of the oldest continually occupied buildings in the New World, which will be decorated and candle lit for the event. WINTER WONDERLAND FESTIVAL
December 18, 2-7pm
In support of local charities; Big Brothers and Big Sister of Bermuda and the Bermuda Foster Care Association, the entire block outside Chopstick’s restaurant on upper Reid Street will be barricaded to host a Family Fun-Day, with exiting activities for children including fun castles, face-painting, free food and lots of giveaways. CHRISTMAS DAY BEACH PARTY
December 25, All-day.
In recent years, spending Christmas day on the South Shore’s Elbow Beach has become a popular tradition for many whose family lives overseas. Hundreds of visitors, locals and ex-pats alike gather on the sand in celebration with food, champagne, music and good tidings. There is no better way to spend Christmas in Bermuda than in good company with sunshine and waves. Just be sure to BYOB and your Santa hat!
