There are many ways to travel to Bermuda or get around once you are here. Whether you choose to take a guided tour around the island or go on your own moped adventure, there is plenty to see and do on the island.
With several ways to get to the beautiful island of Bermuda, flying in via aircraft has to be one of the best. As you get closer to the island watch the water turn crystal blue, the reefs begin to appear and soon you see the shape of the island from a few hundred feet in the air. United Airlines and United Express fly on average of 5,055 flights a day to 373 airports, with Bermuda being one of those. For more info on airlines visit our plan a trip page.
The colour of our buses matches our coast – pink sand and blue ocean. The bus routes cover the main roads throughout the island and leave the City of Hamilton every 20-30 minutes. With a number of different routes and zones you can hop on and off at any destination to explore the island.
Explore Bermuda at your own speed. Rent a moped from Oleander Cycles or Smatts Cycles and spend your time navigating through the island. Before you set off on your adventure you are given briefing on the bikes as well as a test ride to see if you are confident enough to ride. Before you know it you will be cruising the streets and back roads of Bermuda.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. One way to see Bermuda from the ocean is to take a ride on the Sea Express ferry. With ports in Hamilton, Dockyard, Somerset, St. George’s and a few other stops, you can get around the island fairly easily and cheap.
As soon as you leave the airport or cruise ship terminal the friendly taxi drivers are waiting to pick you up. Bermuda Island Taxi is a full-service taxi dispatch and transportation company, serving tourists and locals alike. If you are looking to sightsee or tour the island, Bermuda Island Taxi can cater to your needs.
Hidden Gems is a great option for guided tours across the island. Island Tour Centre is the place to go for tours in and on the water. Titan Express has 5 buses which are new and 4 of them seat 24 people and 1 seats 20 people on a bus. They are also equipped with free WiFi and video and audio capability.
