In the East End stop by White Horse Pub and Restaurant or The Wharf Restaurant & Bar and enjoy classic pub fare and seafood specials as you lounge in the relaxed and casual atmosphere overlooking the harbour of St. George’s.
When in Hamilton, Hog Penny is a great place to enjoy a hearty meal along with good beer and great live entertainment in the evenings. Crown and Anchor at the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club is a great spot for classy cuisine and drinks in a stunning setting. If you’re looking for more of a wine bar Little Venice Wine Bar is a perfect stop for you.
On your way out of town stop off at Bermuda’s famed Elbow Beach resort for the most stunning on the beach bar setting. You will love Mickeys. Perfect for casual drinks or a impressive – romantic or business dinner. Jasmine Lounge at Fairmont Southampton is a perfect stop between Hamilton and the West End. Enjoy creative cuisine featuring light meals and lounge style entertainment at one of Bermuda’s favouite resorts.
At the opposite end of the island in Sandy’s, check in at Somerset Country Squire for casual meal, great drinks and an unforgettable view of Mangrove Bay.
Cafes and Coffee Shops
If arriving by air or looking for one last cafe latte at the airport, Café Boulevard is a great stop. Located between check in and arrivals this is a perfect stop for a coffee, snack or delicious sushi made on site!
In town, Cafe Ten and Cafe 4 (don’t get them confused!) are both great stops for breakfast and or lunch. Enjoy great coffee and treats or classic meals. Cafe Lido located at the stunning Elbow Beach Resort – takes the word cafe to another level. Overlooking a stunning Elbow Beach enjoy tapas, classy cocktails, a great wine selection and love entertainment Friday evenings at the Big Chill!
When in Dockyard you will love Cafe Amici, great patio, great pizza and they also offer traditonal Bermuda Codfish and Potatoe breakfast on Sunday mornings.
The Beach House at Blackbeards located just shy of Fort St. Catherine’s in St. George’s is a perfect casual dining spot to sit off with patio views of Bermuda’s majestic sunset. Fresh, homemade pizzas and italian dishes. If you would prefer to dine italian in town, stop by La Trattoria, a perfect place to bring the family and one of Bermuda’s most child freindly restaurants! Bermuda Zoological Society (BZS) members and Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo (BAMZ) visitors can find delicious made-to-order lunches and desserts to compliment your visit at AZU Beastro.
In the City of Hamilton, Coconut Rock Restaurant and Yashi Sushi Bar are located just off Reid Street. Great for a casual lunch or dinner and some of Bermuda’s best sushi. Flanagan’s is popular for lunch and dinner and has a nice patio. If your looking for Indian, Ruby Murray’s is your best bet, and for asian fusion, L’Oriental. The Lobster Pot is your best bet for fresh daily seafood specials and during Lobster Season (September 1st – March 31st) trying Bermuda’s spiny lobster is an absulute must. Litt Seafood Restaurant & Bar, also known as Lost In The Triangle is a grea place to experience authentic island cuisine. The Pickled Onion and Victoria Grill & Rum Bar Lounge both owned by the IRG Group are excellent choices for lunch or dinner followed by entertainment! Looking for something a little more intimate yet still casual? Bistro J is an excellent choice for lunch, dinner or a special event!
In the Western part of the island restaurants such as the Ocean Club, Mediterra and the Burger Bar at Wickets are all located at Fairmont Southampton. Each offer their own unique style and great for those staying on the property or those who want the Fairmont Experience. Coconuts at The Reefs is another fabulous stop on your way East, enjoy Breezy beach views.
At the West end of the island Frog & Onion is a great stop for lunch or dinner. Enjoy their homestyle comfort food and homemade beers! Café Amici is an Italian family style restaurant in the heart of historic Dockyard.
There are so many fantastic catering groups to choose from. IRG Catering, Little Venice Catering and Fourways Catering are perfect for asimple boardroom lunch or a party of 200. La Trattoria Catering does a mean Italian menu, Ruby Murrys – authentic Indian and Pizza House, some of the best pizza in Bermuda amoung many other classic options perfect for small and large parties of all types.
From breakfast all the way through to dessert, Speciality Inn and La Trattoria serve delicious meals and make some of the best pizza in Bermuda! Their kids specials are tasty and fun, making both restaurants a great place for the entire family. Speaking of Pizza – another obvious option is the Pizza House! You will love Swizzle Inn whether you visit the Bailey’s Bay location or the South Shore location. Both offer Bermuda’s famous signature swizzle and great food & live entertainment including Quiz Nights. Hog Penny features Will Black, a fantastic act from Canada. Head on up to the West end and experience Snorkel Park Beach and enjoy the ocean-view from the upstairs balcony. After the bright vibrant sunset, party under the stars to live entertainment and local DJ’s for the total beach paradise package. Speciality Cinema & Grill is a classic diner and popular movie theatre showing new releases.
With executive chefs from around the world mixing global influence with Bermudian cuisine it’s no wonder why Bermuda is a haven for fine dining. While in the East end of the island, Eliana’s, located in St. David’s is a great choice for a dinner. It offers a small intimate environment where the focus is on great food.
In St. George’s try Griffin’s Bistro located at the St. George’s Club, a chance to enjoy club standards whether you’re staying on site, a visitor to Bermuda or even a local. The Point at Tucker’s Point is exquisite – menus, ambiance and the service – 5 Star. Harry’s in Hamilton is another luxurious setting. The business community loves Harry’s for lunch and happy hour. Great for just drinks or go all out with lunch or dinner. Little Venice offers an upscale Italian flare. Pearl has been voted the best for sushi on Front Street. Barracuda Grill is perfect for a romantic getaway and Port O’ Call is a lovely chic / posh setting and you will want to start with drinks at the bar or on the patio. 1609 and Marcus’ at Hamilton Princess & Beach Club overlook one of Bermuda’s newest marina’s and Hamilton Harbour – to be home of America’s Cup in June 2016. Harbourfront is an an award winning restaurant featuring gourmet sushi, fresh fish and outstanding dry-aged meats, it is set overlooking Hamilton Harbour. Bolero Restaurant & Bar on Front Street features classic bistro classics served in an out of the box manor!
Heading West, Fourways Inn offers a romantic old world setting and Blu Bar & Grill is a great fine dining restaurant where you can catch the sunset. Cafe Lido offers fine dining over looking South Shore and Elbow Beach! Breathtaking!! The Dock at Waterlot is an excellent steakhouse style restaurant with a fabulous old Bermuda setting. Aqua Terra at The Reefs is another great fine dinning option with incredible views of South Shore. Located at the Port Royal Golf Club in Southampton, Bella Vista Bar & Grill is a creative Mediterranean style restaurant with breath taking views of the South Shore.
Flanagan’s Irish Pub & Restaurant is a great spot for delicious pub fare and drinks. Flanagan’s Outback Sports Bar is the perfect spot for sports lovers while The Snug (all apart of the same family) offers take-out comfort food. Marcus’ owned by celebrity chef Marcus Sammuelson overlooks Hamilton Harbour, has a great patio and very cool menu designed by Sammuelson himself, 1609 also overlooks Hamilton Harbour and is open concept. Crown & Anchor located inside the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club is a great spot for a light lunch, cocktails and is pretty happening during the evening with the business crowd.
Litt Seafood Restaurant & Bar a great place for locally inspired cuisine while La Trattoria Restaurant, and La Trattoria Shop cater to italian lovers, Little Venice and Little Venice Wine Bar in Hamilton also cater to Italian lovers, while, L’Oriental situated just upstairs features Japanese cuisine. L’Oriental Express & Express East offer a wide variety of great take out options with limited patio seating ouitside only. Café 4 is a great lunch spot offering a sushi bar as well as a salad and sandwich bar and redy to go items.
Ruby Murrys caters to Indian Lovers while Port O’ Call, is popular for Happy Hour and fine dining. Pearl is for sushi lovers and Bistro J a unique, wholesome, and imaginative menu that changes daily. Ten Café & Bar is a great breakfast and lunch spot with a nice patio. Barracuda Grill is known for their seafood and chops, they also offer a super cozy atmosphere – perfect for intimate lunches and dinners. Hog Penny is a hot spot for socialites featuring comfort food and great entertainment. Pickled Onion is a great spot for breakfast, lunch and dinner and gets hopping in the evening with entertainment.
Victoria Grill & Rumbar Lounge is off the beeten path but worth the treck. The menu and wine list is fabulous and the Rum Bar has a great closed in patio where you can salsa dance! Portofino is a great family friendly italian restaurant while The Lobster Pot Boat House & Bar is a seafood lovers dream, Bolero Brasserie features classic brasserie – bistro style food with a menu that changes weekly. Harry’s at the Waterfront is a perfect place for lunch and dinner and very popular with the business crowd for Happy Hour. Coconut Rock & Yashi Sushi Bar is a perfect casual spot for visitors and locals to enjoy great food and the bar is happening in the evenings. Yashi features some of the best sushi in Bermuda.

In St. George’s we recommend Wahoo’s for excellent take out. Sit off and enjoy a cocktail while you wait at the alley bar style tables. In St. David’s look no further than Pizza House, while the pizza is superb they have many other offerings. Hamilton a few excellent recommendations come in mind for great take-out. In Hamilton The Snug on Front Street inside the Emporium Building features some great comfort food take out options. Calling all Italian food lovers, La Trattoria Shop is your best choice for take-out and for Jamaican food lovers, Fish & Tings. L’Oriental Express & West with two locations in Hamilton has an abundance of offerings. Gold Coast Express at the Warwick Gas Station is another hot spot and has all of Bermuda’s favourites ready to go!
